PEDAVENA BREWERY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Not only is Pedavena the largest brewery in Italy<\/strong>, it is also the producer of three, high-quality brands of Italian beer<\/strong>. Located in Pedavena, just outside of Feltre<\/strong>, the historic brewery<\/strong> was built in 1897 <\/strong>by the Luciani brothers, a family of entrepreneurs from Agordo. The Luciani brothers chose Pedavena to start their brewing business given that the natural properties <\/strong>and minerals in local spring waters<\/strong> help the fermentation of the yeast. Today the brewery is run by expert brewers <\/strong>who preserve and pass on beer-making traditions at the Pedavena Brewery school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pedavena Brewery<\/strong> offers tours <\/strong>and has become a gathering point<\/strong> for locals and tourists in the Belluno valley. The brewing room<\/strong>, which houses the copper vats<\/strong>, is embellished with marble from Verona<\/strong>, glass from Murano <\/strong>and mosaics from Spilimbergo<\/strong>. Visitors can sample the various types of beers and enjoy typical dishes<\/strong> in the large adjacent restaurant<\/strong>. The brewery also has gardens<\/strong>, where artisan markets<\/strong> and concerts <\/strong>are held, and large meeting spaces <\/strong>for conferences and special occasions. Every year this popular brewery serves over three million beers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
